Snow Day Boredom

Why didn't it occur to my parents to tell me this morning there was a freakin' snow day?! They didn't tell me until after I was all dressed (which means my contacts were in. Nothing wakes me up quicker than shoving my contacts in my eyes) and trudging up the stairs. Bah.

1. What causes do you support? Can't come up with specific organization names at the moment but...human rights causes.
2. What causes have you given money or time to? I usually throw spare change to the Salvation Army during Christmas.
3. Have you ever worked in a soup kitchen or done another kind of outreach for the homeless? Nope
4. Would you ever consider joining the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or another travel-inherent worldwide charity group? Probably not.
5. Do you give money to the homeless on the street? Don't see homeless people on the street in Holland, and I've only been in big cities with my parents, who've instructed me to never give them money so...no.
6. Have you ever helped out a friend with basic needs, like rent or food? Since whenever I've bought food for people it hasn't been because of basic need, no.
7. What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need? Being a good listener and shoulder to cry on. It's about all I can do.

1. What are you most afraid of? Staying in Holland/Michigan forever.
2. What did you do today that was really brave? Nothing. (It's a snow day. I haven't left the house!)
3. Who is your favorite superhero, and why? Um...Rachel (Animorphs rule!) She's everything I want to be (and a little bit more, but we won't go there), especially when I was first reading the series (I had serious confidence issues as a 6th grader).
