Stacey asked Rebecca and I if we were going out while all of us were backstage today.

I don't know why I was taken by such surprise. I mean, we're standing their and Rebecca's got both of her arms around my waist...a pretty good indicator that we're more than friends...yet I was shocked when she asked. And Rebecca wasn't volunteering anything so, brilliant me, I say the first thing that comes to mind.

"Why do you ask?"

Mostly because I didn't want to give a definite answer either way. And Rebecca apparently felt the same way so I told Stacey that we aren't officially yet. Which is very true. "Nothing till after MIFA." Which hopefully will get me out of having to figure out any Valentine's Day thing, lol.

Nicole doesn't think I have much of a right to complain about Valentine's Day now. "At least you could enjoy it," is her exact quote, I believe (we were having this discussion at 7:30 this morning).

Yeah. Right. She's never had to worry about Valentine's Day before 'cause she likes sticking in that traditional "guy takes care of everything" relationship. I don't exactly have that luxury, do I?

So I'm debating whether to buy Rebecca a carnation or not through the school's carnation sale thing. Part of my hesitation is I don't know her 2nd or 8th hours. I'll see if I can get 2nd hour out of her suavely tomorrow, but if I ask about two classes tomorrow (I see her at lunch as well), she's bound to get suspicious. And that wouldn't be fun at all.

Gah. High school relationships suck.

And it's really pathetic that I have little else to say.

I could complain about rehearsal, I suppose...about ready to kill Foley (as usual). Though I think I'm gonna complain about him more around Rebecca...anything that earns a sweet kiss on the hand is worth it ;-)

Rehearsal didn't start until after 3:00 again today. Really pissing me off. After the lectures we got about getting down to the PAC right after school at the beginning of the rehearsals...now he isn't showing up till 3! It's really bad.

I really can't wait until MIFA is over. I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again. And I'm going to keep saying it until we're finished.

Which hopefully won't be for another week and a half.

But every day it's getting harder to convince myself of that.
