That's the joy of Rocky Horror for ya'.

Just a quick update, 'cause it's already been a big day.

Okay, the story actually starts Friday night at PFLAG. Dana tells us there that she's left home. She packed some things and left home and came basically straight to PFLAG, without even knowing where she'd stay. She ended up spending that night at Erin's. Last night she was at Perry and Ricky's.

This morning she woke me up at 10 calling from there to tell me that she's moving down to Kentucky for the summer and asking me if I'd drive her to work and the bank today so she could cash the money order her grandmother sent. I said yes, of course. Technically I wasn't supposed to leave home before I did chores, but this was much more important.

So I picked up Dana and took her to Target. That was the easy part. I then took her to a bank near the mall, but she couldn't cash the money order there unless she had an account. Well, she doesn't have a bank account anywhere 'cause her mom closed it. She also took away Dana's car and phone, and changed the locks on the house shortly after Dana left. So we had to spend an hour driving all over Holland, trying to find a place to cash the stupid thing. Meijer's doesn't do money orders, but they said there was a Western Uniont 'somewhere on 8th street'. We couldn't find that, so we stopped in at the tourist info office, and the nice woman there helped us find one :-)

But when we found it, the woman working there couldn't cash the check. She said something about it not being in the system yet...so we had to go to K-Mart (aka Purgatory) where Dana picked up the order. We were told there that it had to be in the system if the check was printed. They can't cash the money orders there, so the woman suggested we go to the nearby Family Fare, or some party store on Chicago Drive. We went to Family Fare first, but when we looked at the sign on their counter, they didn't cash money orders either. We were about to leave, but went back at the last minute to see if anyoe there knew the party store. They didn't, but they could cash Western Union checks ~happy dance~

So we went back downtown, Dana bought me a smoothie from Ruby Juice, then we got her ticket at the travel agent place.

I didn't get home until after 1. A long morning. And then according to my caller ID, Brad had called about 5 times. So I called him back, we talked about doing a movie day at my house today with him, Chris and John, but we're postponing it until tomorrow 'cause we'd only have had two hours before I had to kick them out because of rehearsal. So tomorrow they're coming over at 11, we're watching Rocky Horror Picture Show (Chris and John haven't seen it!!!), and then we're heading out to the mall to go girl hunting. Yea!

I think i need to go get some Easy Mac now.
