Spent at least an hour at the beach for the last three days. Spent three hours there yesterday, hence my skin has a slight pink tinge to it. But with copious moisturizing, it should be a nice tan in a day or two. Especially since I don't plan on going tomorrow or Thursday.

So yeah. That's what I've been doing in lieu of writing in here. That and doing lots of reading. Got all of HP5 read on Saturday in just about seven hours. Also been listening to lots of Rocky Horror ~grin~ I'm supposed to write a song fic for anirarepair and might just choose a Rocky song. Remind me to look closer at lyrics for "Once in Awhile" and "Superheroes".

Had a mini-breakdown over the weekend, which was not good, but was cured by a trip to the beach and a series of e-mails with Jake. I miss that guy like nothin' else. He posted a pic at his Xanga page today and it made me sigh and be all sad :-( At the same time as I was giggling 'cause it's the infamous sandwich picture.

Play rehearsal is going better. Holly is coming with me to the cast pizza party on Thursday night :-) Unfortunately she still has that pesky boyfriend :-Þ But I do have a lineup of people willing to help me find a girlfriend. Seriously, look at this list:

Brad has been saying for weeks he and I would go girl hunting while Britt and April are in Germany (or Italy, as they are now).

Chris then says that he met "an interesting lesbian who seemed possibly interested in meeting" me. The scary part is her name is Rebecca :-/ But I'm desperate so I'm completely unopposed to meeting her, lol.

Jake phrases it as "girl-acquiring". If I have not acquired anyone by the time he gets back, he's going to help me.

Finally, Mike tells me that his ex ex ex ex girlfriend might be free. We didn't go in depth about that one, but he can be added to the list of people (well...guys...) that are all willing to help me out of my girlfriendless-situation.

Oh, and Britt and April were talking about bringing back a small German contortionist for me. So there we go with some girls helping me out. I feel loved :-) Hopefully I'll get *something* out of all these attempts!

Ack. My contacts keep drying out :-Þ I'm going to blink them right out of my eyes one of these days....
