~sigh~

Found out that a bunch of the WO people who tried out made it into Joseph. :-Þ I really wish I was doing that show, now. I'm going to kill Neurotic Vocal Director. I don't think she's ever heard of having a break in your voice...mine falls right on A, which is where a lot of my songs are sung. It sucks. She's also having us do all these glottal stops whenever we have to start a line with a vowel.... I'm literally cringing every time she demonstrates. And then every once in awhile I slip up and do one as well. My voice is going to be shot by the end of the summer.

On the bright side, I'm completely freaking out this girl, Jordan, 'cause my hats always match my outfits, lol. Yeah, Jordan's a little ditzy. But I'm going to continue freaking her out until I get my hair dyed again, 'cause the brunette didn't take as well as hoped (my hair is rebelling against the thought of being its natural color!). I mean, there's a streak of almost-green on one side. It's pretty strange. So hopefully this weekend I'll re-dye it, and be able to get away with only one box, 'cause I don't want to spend another $18 on dye. One box should be enough for touch ups, right?

Got amusing reactions on Wednesday about my hair. Went out for lunch with the group (it was Nicole's and my grad party) and April and Jake were both in shock, Brad didn't recognize me, Nicole thought I was Laura and John thought somebody's mother had come along!!! I know I'm old, guys, but come on! lol

And the gifts that were received...wow. Crazy. April gave me sporks, lol. Britt gave me a 'Taste the Rainbow' tank top (that isn't nearly as slutty as promised! It's probably the most modest tank top I own!) and a Christmas shirt from Gadzooks.... Yeah, that's one that's not going to be worn until I leave the house, lol.

Today we had lunch at Burger King so we could harass Nicole while she was at work. I got there a little early 'cause I wanted to get out my neighborhood before school traffic hit, then Brad showed up...40 minutes later Britt and Laura show up. So Brad and I had a nice date alone in Burger King ;-) It took another 10 minutes for Cameron, John, April and Jake to show up. It was quite sad. Brad and I were finished with our food when most of them showed up.

After eating we went out to the parking lot to play Freeze for...forever. Jake and I sang one last time ~sigh~ I am going to miss that kid so much this summer. It took a lot of self control not to cry when we had to leave. But he had other people to see, and Brad and I had to leave if we hoped to get any movies watched today. John, Cameron and April joined us as well. Which was fun.

First we lost John and Cameron on the way to my house (oh, excuse me, "lost"), then while the four of us were waiting in my front yard for April to show up I got the mail and found a card from the Navy that was full of way too many inuendos. It was really bad. But funny, too.

We had to watch Clockwork Orange since we only had time for one movie and Brad rented Clockwork Orange while I (obviously) own Moulin Rouge (my kinda-illegal copy taped off Pay Per View ;-). Clockwork Orange is...something else, that's for sure. I think I liked it (April, stop giving me that look!), but I might have to watch it again to really appreciate it. Without man-loving people watching it with me, lol. Crazy people.

But before I see it again, Brad has to watch Moulin Rouge. Maybe we can do that sometime after we cruise the mall for chicks ;-) Yes, this guy has been a bad influence on me. But we love him anyway. He's going to protect me and cook for me when/if I move to GR. And Chris is going to move into my apartment...life will certainly never be dull. I'll probably never get any sleep either and flunk out but...I'll certainly have some interesting experiences to use as resources for my acting career. Right?

No idea what I'm doing tomorrow. Was originally gonna go shopping with Brad and Britt then come back here to watch movies, but then Mom said she wanted to go out with my brother and I and she really didn't want me to skip out on this one.... But if she doesn't come up with something good, and fast, I'm gonna end up at the mall, lol. I have Brad's cell number now, thanks to his compulsive calling of my phone. I can stalk him ;-)

Re-designing my diary soon...hopefully with something other than someone else's template. I'm more creative than that, right?

Okay, and people keep telling me my diary is interesting to read.... It's even been suggested I look into having this thing published (the sad thing is I know there are publishers out there who would. I, however, don't want my name attached to them). What exactly is it that makes this thing interesting to read? It's just my compulsive tendency to jot down every nuance of my day.... Somebody explain this phenomena to me (and Jen, I'm going off to get a guestbook right now so you'll be able to write down any funny thoughts that come to mind in light of this prompt ;-)

Banner on the top of the screen right now: wordy, rambling lesbian seeks readers for mutual pleasuring. With a picture of pickles. Nicole, since when has Amanda had a diary? ;-)
