Happiness!

Y'know, some people may think this sadistic or something, but I think I have the most fun when I'm auditioning for plays.

Seriously. Had auditions for 'Mattress' tonight. One of the best auditions I've been to in ages. I think being around a whole new group of people inspires me to go a bit over the top because they don't really have an idea of what I can do. And since my life isn't all that fun, it's tons of fun to pretend to be a pregnant-and-desperate Lady, or a nearly-drowned Princess. (Oh, I wanna be her! I wanna be HER!)

I don't know if I'm going back tomorrow. I arranged it today on an agreement with my mom that I'd go tonight and she'd go tomorrow but...maybe I'll see if she'd mind me coming along. If she does, then I don't go back. If she doesn't, then I go back and have some more fun. And I'm definitely crossing my fingers that I get a part, especially since there weren't many young people there tonight (there were two other women there who would be competing with me for roles. One rocks, I was in a show with her before, and the other's decent) so I have a good chance at getting Larken or ~pause~ Winnifred.

Of course, there's tomorrow night's crowd that I'll have to deal with. But for now I'm going to imagine myself as Fred, just because I can.

Oh, and wanna know something weird? This was the first audition in my life where the men outnumbered the women. It was insane! There were five or six women and nine or ten men. I've been to an audition where men and women were matched evenly, and every other has had the women outnumber the men at least two to one. And then tonight there were the guys outnumbering the women almost two to one. Insanity, I tell you.

And what else did I do today...got up really early (Dad woke me up forty minutes before my alarm went off. Did I ask him to wake me up? No.) and did the class registering thing. Got all the classes I wanted (and, some I didn't ~cough~AdvancedAlgebra~cough~). Fun stuff like German with some of my closest friends, Advanced Painting and Drawing with one of my friends, and Reading and Writing Workshop one of the biggest slacker classes in the school (you read books then write about them). Oh, and my Career Exploration over at the 6/7 grade library. That'll be fun.

After the class-registering thing, I went over to Brittany's house and stayed there literally all day. Ate breakfast over there, sat around and talked with Britt, April came over and we watched some anime (um...Weiss Kreuz first, I believe), then we ate, then we watched some more anime (Trigun). I didn't understand any of it, but the outtakes on Weiss Kreuz were hilarious! Anyway, for making me suffer through all their heterosexualness (which included some disgusting jokes I did not need to hear. Example: April: (referring to Ramen noodles) I just can't suck something that long all at once. Brittany: Well, I pity April's sex life. Me: Image I did not need!!! And then later, Brittany was eating some cake with nuts in the frosting: Yes, Angela, I know you don't want any. Yeah, take a beat and think about that) anyway, I'm gonna make them come over and watch fun movies like 'But I'm a Cheerleader' and make them listen while I drool over Clea DuVall. ~swoon~ Or we'll watch a fun movie like 'Moulin Rouge' and I'll swoon over Nicole Kidman. Mwaha, take that! LoL. I love Britt and April but sometimes...oy, they're a handful.
